Billie moved to the french riviera in 1988 and purchased an old building.
 " Une maison de pécheur" in the center of the    "Vieil Antibes" 








BILLIE,   Artiste peintre.




 Billie had a grand piano in her work shop, this was the occasion for many JAZZ jam sessions all year around.



The Atelier is  mentionned in different tourism brochure as during remodelling 
andas the were digging the basement and  ré-inforcing structures, our 
masons found remains dating  from 
the Roman times  
300 to 100 BC

A roman road in Antibes.











As they were installing an artist workshop, the new owners, a french-american couple, discovered
an antic wall and a roman side-walk.

It is in that building is nstalled her  "Atelier d'Artiste".

The "Atelier" was BILLIE's workshop, and Gallery from 1989 to 2003.

Antibes   is located on the french Riviéra, at the beginning of the "Cap d'Antibes", and "Juan les Pins", known for its "JAZZ Festival".

Surrounded by remparts, on the médidteranée, Vieil Antibes, is located at 
only 9 km east of Cannes, and 18km west of Nice.


A 25 minutes drive to Monte Carlo, Monaco and Italy.
Antibes allreadfy existed, 2nd century BC, under the name of "Antipolis",













In a small street , la Rue des Bains connecting  "le Marché Provençal" and  "la Place de la République" in the historic district of Antibes, BILLIE's workshop, was located on the circuit of Art amateurs.
Just a few hundred yards from the Picasso Museum, the Peynet Museum
